What I’ve learned in 30 years 💪🏻
Life has been…interesting. It has been very, very rough this past year. I lost so many loved ones in just 5 years alone, but I have learned a lot throughout them.
I have learned:
- I am dressing the body I have no & not the body I used to have. I have had body dysmorphia since kindergarten & I am still trying to retrain my brain. It is a working progress.
- what it feels like to be loved & in love. Before meeting my fiancé, I was on not so healthy relationships. I didn’t care about a lot of things or how I was treated. I was very gullible & just wanted company for the most part. Once I found Randy, everything changed. I am no longer a servant, but a princess. I don’t carry any bags, open any doors, push the buggies/carts, drive or even pay for anything when he’s around. It is nice to be pampered sometimes 🤭
- to cherish what you have in life. Ever since I lost my aunt, grandpa & close friend, I have been in a dark place. I am in therapy, talk to a psychiatrist, take daily 💊 & journal as a way to cope. Life has been just one big, long healing process.
