Hydration is key—drinking plenty of water and using a nourishing eye cream with ingredients like vitamin C or caffeine helps reduce puffiness and discoloration over time. One of my favorite hacks is using a color corrector before applying concealer. Peach or orange tones neutralize the bluish hues of dark circles, allowing your concealer to provide better coverage without looking cakey. I apply the corrector gently with my ring finger to avoid tugging the delicate skin. Another tip is to avoid heavy makeup under the eyes, as this can settle into fine lines and emphasize shadows. Instead, a lightweight, hydrating concealer blended well will brighten the area naturally. For nighttime care, incorporating a retinol-based eye serum can promote skin renewal and fade pigmentation gradually. Just remember to wear sunscreen during the day, as sun exposure worsens dark circles. By following these simple steps consistently, combining lifestyle changes, targeted skincare, and smart makeup techniques, you can effectively diminish dark circles and maintain a fresh, well-rested appearance every day.
