What I Wish I had Known Before visiting LA

The Uber/lyft pricing has definitely increased since my last time in LA (which makes sense considering that was almost six years ago).

Here’s what I wish I had known before going:

-average ride cost about $40 USD.

-rides to and from the airport were around $50-60 USD.

-my friend and I took the train from Downtown LA to Santa Monica which saved a lot of money!! Definitely wished I had looked into it sooner but you live and you learn. Average train ride was $1.50 USD.

Splitting the cost of each ride with a friend made it much easier to navigate, but if you’re traveling alone then I would recommend budgeting for these kind of prices if you don’t end up going with the rental car route.
