This isn't just another fad; for me, it's a real chance to hit the reset button and transform my health and wellness for the new year. I've set up my own personalized 12 rules to guide me through, lasting until March 18th, and I'm so excited to share my plan with you all. Many of you are probably wondering, 'What exactly are the 75 Soft rules?' Well, based on what I've learned and adapted for my own journey, here’s a peek at the structure I’m following, aiming to build those healthier habits and even get more organized. My goals are pretty clear: reduce body fat, build lasting healthy routines, and bring some order back into my life. Here’s a breakdown of the core principles I'm incorporating into my 75 Soft Challenge rules: Daily Workouts: This is a big one! I'm committing to two 30-minute workouts every day. One will be intense, like a HIIT session or a long run, and the other will be more active recovery, such as a brisk walk or some yoga. The key for me is consistency, no excuses! Water Intake: Hydration is crucial. I'm aiming for a gallon of water daily. I’ve found that having a large water bottle with time markers really helps me stay on track. Diet Focus: I’m cutting out alcohol and sticking to whole, unprocessed foods. My plan is to meal prep on Sundays to avoid temptation and ensure I have healthy options readily available. This isn't about deprivation, but fueling my body right. Reading: I want to dedicate at least 10 pages a day to non-fiction books – think personal development or business. It's about feeding my mind as much as my body. Sleep Schedule: Getting quality sleep is often overlooked. I'm targeting 7-8 hours a night, establishing a consistent bedtime and wake-up routine, even on weekends. Organizing & Decluttering: This is my personal spin! Each day, I'm tackling one small organizing task, whether it's clearing a drawer, tidying my desk, or cleaning out a closet. I'm hoping by March 18th, my home feels as refreshed as I do. Progress Photos: I'll be taking weekly progress photos to track physical changes. It's a great way to stay motivated and see how far I've come. No Cheat Meals/Days: This is tough, but essential for building discipline. For 75 days, I’m sticking to my dietary plan without exceptions. Mental Wellness: Incorporating daily meditation or journaling for 10-15 minutes to manage stress and stay present. Skill Development: Learning something new for at least 15 minutes a day, whether it's a language or a new software skill. Gratitude Practice: Ending each day by writing down three things I'm grateful for. It helps shift my perspective and fosters positivity. Limit Screen Time: Setting boundaries on social media and unnecessary scrolling, especially before bed. For anyone considering a '75 days soft challenge' or even a '30 soft rules' version, remember it’s about making sustainable changes. It doesn't have to be as hardcore as '75 Hard', but it still requires commitment. These '75 soft goals' are designed to push me while still being achievable. I’m excited to see the transformation and share my journey. What are some of your 'three habits' you're trying to build this year? Let's motivate each other!
