Overall rating: 10/10
So, I decided to change up the way I make my ramen.
So, here's the recipe!
Get a pot and bring the water to a boil
After put a pinch of salt in the water
Grab Lowery's seasoning salt and put 1/2 tsp in the water
Let it boil for a little bit
Place noodles in water
Then grab your chicken and poultry rub seasoning and put 1/2 tsp and place on top of noodles
Sprinkle Garlic powder and Onion powder in there (Only a little bit)
Sprinkle complete seasoning as well and let boil
Break apart noodles
Put noodles in a bowl and mix in the chicken packet (No broth)
Pour broth on top of noodles and sprinkle parsley on top and enjoy!
So, you've mastered the basic seasoning for a super flavorful ramen bowl, just like my recipe above! But sometimes, I crave a little extra something to elevate my chicken ramen. If you're like me and always looking for easy ways to jazz up your instant noodles, you're in the right place! Here are some of my favorite simple additions and tips to make your light chicken ramen bowl even more satisfying and visually appealing. Easy Things to Add to Ramen for Maximum Flavor Beyond just seasoning the water and noodles, a few quick additions can truly transform your ramen experience. My absolute go-to is a perfectly soft-boiled egg – the jammy yolk adds so much richness! If you have leftover roast chicken, shredding a little into your bowl is fantastic for an extra protein boost. For those who enjoy plant-based options, pan-fried tofu cubes or a handful of edamame are brilliant. Vegetables are incredibly easy to incorporate. A handful of fresh spinach or baby bok choy wilts beautifully in the hot broth. Sliced scallions, corn kernels, or even quick-sautéed mushrooms add texture and freshness. Don't forget flavor boosters like a dash of chili crisp for a spicy kick, a drizzle of sesame oil for an aromatic touch, or a squeeze of fresh lime juice to brighten everything up. These simple additions make a huge difference without much effort! Achieving that Perfect Light Chicken Ramen Broth The original recipe focuses on seasoning the water, which is a great start for a flavorful, light broth. But if you want to take it a step further, consider using a good quality low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth as your base instead of just water. This instantly deepens the flavor without adding heaviness. I often simmer a few slices of fresh ginger and a crushed garlic clove in my broth for a few minutes before adding the noodles – it infuses a wonderful aroma and freshness that complements the chicken perfectly. You can also experiment with a tiny splash of light soy sauce or a pinch of white pepper for an extra layer of taste. The goal is a clear, flavorful broth that doesn't feel heavy, allowing the other ingredients to shine. I love that clean, vibrant look of a light broth, especially when it's served in a beautiful black bowl. Making Your Ramen Bowl Picture-Perfect Let's be honest, we eat with our eyes first! The OCR mentioned a "black bowl filled with yellow ramen noodles in a light broth, topped with green parsley flakes" – and I totally agree on presentation. Once your noodles are cooked and in your bowl, arrange your toppings nicely. Place your soft-boiled egg halves, protein, and vegetables artfully on top of the noodles. Then, carefully pour your delicious light broth over everything. For that final touch, a sprinkle of fresh green parsley flakes, as mentioned in the image, or finely chopped green onions, makes all the difference. The vibrant green pops against the yellow ramen noodles and the clear light broth, making your homemade chicken ramen not just a meal, but a feast for the eyes. It truly elevates the simple act of eating instant ramen into a gourmet experience right in your own kitchen!

Looks delicious ❤️
