That’s honestly why I never bought work out tights to begin with ! Jogger and sweatpants me please !!!!
I’ve always prioritized comfort over style when it comes to workout clothes, and honestly, tights just haven’t worked for me. From real personal experience, workout tights can often feel constricting and uncomfortable, especially when they don’t fit quite right. One big issue that bothers me (and many others) is camel toe—it’s a common problem with many brands that wearers find embarrassing and uncomfortable during exercise. Over time, I found myself gravitating more towards joggers and sweatpants because they offer a relaxed fit and freedom of movement that tights often lack. Sweatpants don’t cling tightly to the body, so you don’t have to worry about any awkward outlines or discomfort caused by stretchy fabrics that emphasize areas in ways you don’t want. In addition, sweatpants and joggers are easier to wear casually outside the gym, making them versatile pieces in my wardrobe. When sweating it out or running errands, I want clothes that don’t demand constant adjustment or create confidence issues. If you’re someone who has struggled with finding workout tights that fit well without these fit issues, know that it’s totally normal—and not something you have to accept. Some brands have started designing tights with better fabric cuts and materials to avoid camel toe and discomfort, but they can be hard to find. Until then, choosing looser pants helps maintain your confidence and comfort. I recommend trying on different styles and materials and reading user reviews discussing fit before investing in workout tights. But don’t feel pressured—there’s no mandatory dress code for gyms, and your comfort should always come first. For me, that means sticking with joggers and sweatpants because at the end of the day, feeling good while exercising makes a huge difference in motivation and performance.
