top 5 things to do in nyc!

1. go see a broadway show!🎭

i saw the lion king and had chills the whole time!! it’s such an amazing experience.

2. go to the american museum of natural history!🦖

this is where night at the museum was filmed and seeing everything in real life was so surreal.

3. go to the summit!🏙️

this has an amazing view of manhattan and more! you can see from every side of the building and the entire experience is sp unique.

4. go to central park!🌳

i recommend going and at least seeing bow bridge, the zoo is also cool but the bronx zoo is so much better.

5. finally, go shopping!🛍️

it’s overwhelming, but totally worth it!

... Read moreVisiting New York City offers so many unforgettable experiences beyond just sightseeing. When I explored the city, catching a Broadway show was definitely a highlight. The Lion King’s performance at the Minskoff Theatre was absolutely breathtaking — the energy, music, and costumes immersing me completely. For history and natural wonders, the American Museum of Natural History is a must. Walking through the same halls where 'Night at the Museum' was filmed added a magical feeling to the visit. Seeing the dinosaur fossils up close was truly surreal. The Summit, a newer attraction, provides panoramic 360-degree views of Manhattan and beyond, which felt unique compared to traditional observation decks. It offers a modern and interactive way to appreciate the cityscape from every angle. Central Park is a peaceful haven amidst urban life, and the Bow Bridge is especially picturesque—great for photos or just soaking in the atmosphere. While the Central Park Zoo is nice, I found the Bronx Zoo to be much larger and more diverse if you have time. Lastly, shopping in NYC can be overwhelming due to the size and range of options. From luxury brands like Coach to smaller boutiques, there’s something for every shopper. It’s best to plan ahead and maybe tackle one neighborhood at a time to make the most out of it. Overall, combining culture, nature, iconic views, and retail therapy makes for a perfectly balanced New York City trip. These experiences made my visit truly memorable and I highly recommend them for first-time visitors or anyone wanting a genuine NYC adventure.
