Minfulness and Creative Expression

Hi, my name is Cat Doss-Alt. I’m a Certified Mindfulness Instructor and Registered Yoga Teacher. And today, I just wanted to talk a little bit about creative expression and entering a flow state and how that can be an important part of mindfulness. So whether you're drawing, painting, writing, doing music or dance, any form of creative expression where you're able to enter a flow state can really help you to focus and just enter that level of productivity and self-awareness and connection to self and the world around you. And art kind of bridges that connection between you and the world, between your world view and the outside. And that's such an important connection to foster, and that's really what mindfulness is all about!
