🤎🍪🤎🍪🤎

If you enjoy making healthy yet tasty snacks, these almond butter protein cookies are a great addition to your recipe collection. One tip I've found helpful is to warm the almond butter slightly so it's liquid and easier to mix, ensuring an even texture. Using a protein powder like chocolate flavor adds a rich taste, but vanilla works wonderfully too for a more subtle sweetness. When shaping the cookies, pressing them flat before baking helps them cook evenly and develop a nice texture. For that perfectly round shape, using the inside of a glass to smooth edges is a neat trick I've tried, and it works well every time. Baking at a lower temperature like 300°F and for a short time (around 8 minutes) prevents them from drying out while keeping a soft center. Once out of the oven, letting them cool completely is important because they firm up and flatten slightly as they set. Sprinkling a small pinch of sea salt on top before enjoying really enhances the flavor with a subtle salty contrast to the sweet chocolate chips. These cookies are not only a good protein source but also include healthy fats from almond butter and almond flour, making them a balanced snack that satisfies cravings without guilt. I've found they're perfect as a pre- or post-workout snack or whenever you need a quick energy boost during the day.
