I went to Showa Kinen Park in Tachikawa City, Tokyo.
I went by car and entered the park immediately from the parking lot. Even if I go by train, there was an entrance just outside the station, so I thought it was easy to go any way.
There were many people because I went on a holiday, but I was able to spend calmly because the space was taken wide in the park and the place where the flowers are blooming beautifully.
There are various cafes and shops with light meals in the park, and it is also recommended for picnics and cherry blossom viewing. There was a little line, but the dumplings that you can choose the taste and season it on the spot were chewy, fragrant and delicious. Many people come with dogs and families, so it is recommended as a holiday outing spot.
昭和記念公園は広大な敷地に季節ごとの花々が咲き誇り、特に春から初夏にかけてはポピーやチューリップ、バラ園など見どころ満載です。園内は散歩コースも充実していて、のびのびとリフレッシュできるのが魅力。 私も以前GWに訪れましたが、園内の広い芝生や遊具エリアで子供たちが自由に走り回っている姿が印象的でした。ペット可の場所も多く、わんちゃん連れの方も安心して楽しめます。途中で立ち寄ったお団子店では、自分好みの味付けができるスタイルで、もちもちの食感と香ばしさが忘れられません。 また、電車利用でも立川駅から徒歩すぐでアクセスしやすく、車の場合も駐車場が園内に近いためストレスなく入園できるのは嬉しいポイント。お弁当を持参してピクニ ックをしたり、公園内のカフェで軽食を楽しむのもおすすめです。 自然に囲まれた環境の中で過ごす休日は、普段の忙しさを忘れてリラックスでき、心身ともにリフレッシュできます。家族や友人、ひとり時間にもぴったりな昭和記念公園は、これからの季節にぜひ訪れてほしいスポットです。
