I’m made in the image of God🙏🏾
Reflecting on the powerful message "I'm made in the image of God" reminds me daily of the inherent value and dignity each of us possesses. In moments when my self-worth feels diminished, I recall the phrase from the image, "If they don't see your worth... Adjust your crown. I'M A QUEEN OF A QUEEN!" This serves as a beautiful metaphor for self-empowerment—reminding me that external validation is not the measure of my true value. I have found that embracing this mindset brings a significant shift in perspective. It encourages resilience and self-love, especially when facing challenges or criticism from others. By affirming that we are reflections of divine creation, we uphold a standard of respect for ourselves and others, which naturally boosts confidence and personal growth. In practical terms, this means taking time each day for self-reflection and positive affirmation. Wearing my "crown" represents valuing my abilities, achievements, and unique qualities. When negativity arises, I consciously "adjust my crown" by focusing on my strengths and purpose instead of external doubt. This approach has transformed how I interact with the world—fostering a deeper sense of connection and grace. It also serves as a reminder to uplift those around me, encouraging everyone to recognize their regal worth and potential. Ultimately, living with the awareness that we are made in God's image is an ongoing journey of honor, self-respect, and empowerment.
