Earthbound protagonists and Yap

It's been such a joy diving back into the world of Earthbound, and drawing these iconic protagonists really brought back a rush of memories! As a huge fan of the Mother series, I often find myself thinking about what makes each earthbound protagonist so special, and why they've earned their place in gaming history. Let's start with Ninten from Mother 1. He's the original hero who set the stage for everything that followed. I remember Ninten's journey through peaceful towns and spooky laboratories, learning PSI powers to save the world. My fan art captures him in his classic green striped shirt and that distinctive red and blue cap, ready for adventure with his clenched fists. He might seem young, but his courage is undeniable. It always makes me wonder, how old is Ninten really, facing such threats? He truly embodies the spirit of a young hero. When people ask about ninten vs ness, I always say Ninten laid the groundwork for Ness's emotional depth. Then we have Ness from Earthbound, arguably the most recognizable of the earthbound protagonists. His adventure is so relatable, starting right from his earthbound ness house in Onett. I particularly connect with the moments of homesickness earthbound captures so beautifully, making him feel incredibly human. In my drawing, I wanted to show him making that iconic peace sign, wearing his own red and blue cap and blue striped shirt, a symbol of his journey and growing power. His bond with his friends and even his ness mom earthbound adds so much heart to the story. The debate of ness vs ninten is always fun, but Ness truly escalated the emotional stakes of the series. Finally, there's Lucas from Mother 3. His story is perhaps the most poignant and emotionally challenging of the three. My fan art shows him with his signature spiky blonde hair and orange striped shirt, a gentle soul thrust into incredible circumstances. The transformation lucas earthbound undergoes throughout Mother 3 is just phenomenal. He starts as a timid boy and grows into a powerful hero. It's a big part of why I find myself hesitant to finish Mother 3; I don't want his incredible journey to end! Seeing ninten ness and lucas side-by-side, it's amazing how each earthbound protagonist brings something unique to the series, yet they all share that underlying theme of courage, friendship, and overcoming adversity. Each character, from ninten earthbound to ness earthbound and lucas lucas and ness, contributes to the magic. I hope my drawings do justice to these incredible heroes.
