Build Structure When You Work for Yourself

I used to be really good at…school.

You put me in school and I knew exactly where I was supposed to be and when, and what I was supposed to be doing. ([Did I always wait ‘til the last minute to do homework? Sure. But that’s a different topic.](https://youtu.be/XoJnLA9lBeQ))

Suffice it to say, I *thrived* on the structure school provided.

Once I got my Bachelor’s degree and was left at home to my own devices however…

Let’s just say it was ROUGH.

Learning how to provide myself structure and hold myself accountable to that structure has been one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to learn — especially as someone who is Neurodivergent, Chronically Ill, and Disabled.

The advice that’s already out there isn’t exactly made for people like us, is it?
