One of the most meaningful gifts doesn’t have to cost much.

For Mother’s Day, birthdays, or even “just because,” have your students create handwritten cards and secretly mail them home to their moms or caregivers. 📬

Why it works:

💖 It becomes a surprise instead of just another paper in a backpack.

💖 Parents feel genuinely appreciated.

💖 Students practice kindness, writing skills, and gratitude all at once.

Teacher Tip: Keep a sheet of mailing addresses at the beginning of the year, provide envelopes and stamps, and schedule a “mail day” before holidays so every family receives a heartfelt surprise.
