What is it? Besides steam in the air?
Serenely I watch,
The world, unrecognizable, now burns
Pain and peace merge as one
The fight is finished
Surrender
The Earth whispers to let it burn
For while the rage consumes what was,
The pain reinforces, “Never again”
And so will be our cause
For pain creates
From the ashes we rise
New earth unfolding, while the old one dies.”
