I always get asked what I do with overripe bananas! Simple and quick: straight to the freezer, peel and all! When I need them for smoothies, muffins, or banana bread, I microwave them briefly to defrost them. Then, I cut off the tip with scissors, and the banana flesh comes out like a lovely puree.
