MAC Cutting Up🍋✨🫶🌸🥰🤍
You guys, I've been SO excited to talk about this! I recently picked up the MAC Tempting Eyeshadow, and it's quickly become a new favorite in my makeup stash. Seriously, when I saw it, I just knew I had to try it out. It's one of those shades that just calls to you, you know? First off, let's talk about the shade itself. MAC describes Tempting as a 'lustrous, rich bronze,' and I couldn't agree more. On my skin tone, it pulls a beautiful, warm, golden bronze with a gorgeous soft shimmer. It's not glittery at all, which I appreciate for everyday wear, but it definitely catches the light beautifully. If you love warm-toned neutrals that still make a statement, this new eyeshadow might just be your next obsession. Now, onto the formula. MAC eyeshadows are generally known for their quality, and Tempting doesn't disappoint. It's incredibly buttery smooth to the touch, almost creamy, and there's absolutely no fallout during application, which is a huge win in my book. The pigmentation is fantastic – one swipe gives you a rich, opaque color, but it's also wonderfully buildable if you want an even more intense look. And blending? Oh my goodness, it blends like a dream! It melts into the skin seamlessly, making it super easy to create a soft, diffused look or a more defined one. I've tried wearing MAC Tempting in a few different ways already. For a quick, effortless daytime look, I just sweep it all over my lid with a fluffy brush, maybe add a touch of mascara, and I'm good to go. It instantly brightens up my eyes and makes me look put-together without much effort. For a more evening-appropriate vibe, I like to deepen the outer V with a matte brown shade and then really pack Tempting onto the center of my lid with my finger for maximum impact. It also looks stunning as a lower lash line accent! One thing I'm always looking for in an eyeshadow is longevity, especially since my eyelids can sometimes be a bit oily. I'm happy to report that MAC Tempting holds up really well! I've worn it for 8+ hours with an eyeshadow primer, and it barely creased or faded. Without primer, it still performs admirably for a good 5-6 hours before I notice any slight creasing, which is pretty standard for me. Is it unique? While there are many bronze eyeshadows out there, I feel like Tempting has a certain warmth and luminosity that sets it apart. It’s not too orange, not too brown – it's that perfect golden-bronze sweet spot. It’s definitely a shade that I think would flatter a wide range of skin tones. Overall, if you're on the hunt for a versatile, high-quality, and absolutely stunning neutral eyeshadow with a twist, I wholeheartedly recommend giving MAC Tempting a try. It’s become a staple for me, and I can see myself reaching for this beautiful new addition constantly. Let me know in the comments if you've tried it or if you have any other MAC eyeshadow recommendations!
