🍞*SAVE🍞simple sourdough starter recipe day 1 🌾uncomplicate the process & make your very own starter w/my easy step by step process 👇🏽

Ingredients 🛒

•1 c organic whole wheat flour

•1 c filtered or bottled room temperature (temp) water

Equipment 🛠️

•Quart size Mason jar

•Measuring cups

•Wooden spoon

•Tablespoon

•Small bowl

Step by step instructions 🍞

🌸 First, add to mason jar 1 c organic whole wheat flour.

💧 Second, add to mason jar 1 c room temp water.

🥄 Third, mix together the ingredients w/the end of a wooden spoon until the flour is incorporated thoroughly into the water & becomes like a thick pancake consistency.

✨ Then scrape the sides of the mason jar to remove as much of the starter as possible.

😮‍💨 Loosely place the mason jar top on the jar which will allow the starter to get air to breath. Do NOT screw the top on.

⏰ Set mason jar on kitchen counter & set an alarm for 24 hours which is when you’ll feed (add another 1 c of organic whole wheat flour & 1 c room temp water) your starter next.

✨ Creating a sourdough starter will take 7 days total so follow me now so you can access the full step by step process 🤍
