June was not it

Here is my book calendar for the month. I am still reading 1 book, which is okay, but I need to find a way to be able to read more except at night after I get off work. Did get to read some books, though, and they were really good. What some things to help you keep reading?

... Read moreTo maintain a consistent reading habit, consider setting specific reading goals tailored to your lifestyle. Whether you prefer daytime reading or dedicating a quiet hour before bed, the key is finding what works best for you. Incorporating reading into your daily routine can lead to significant improvements in the number of books you can finish. Engage with communities, like book clubs, to foster motivation and accountability. Additionally, using a book calendar can help you visually organize your reading plans, fostering a sense of accomplishment as you mark each completed book. Try diversifying your reading selections to include various genres; this can keep your motivation high. Listening to audiobooks during commutes or breaks can also expand your reading time. Aim for a balance that allows you to enjoy the process without feeling overwhelmed.

I tell myself Iโ€™ll read for only 5 minutes. I can manage 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes is up, sometimes I stop, but most of the time I want to keep reading.
