「トイレ床リフォームを自分でやりたいけど、難しそう…」と思ってた私が、フロアシート（クッションフロア系）で“賃貸トイレ床の張り替えDIY”をした時に、やってよかったコツを追記します。私みたいに型取りでミスって隙間が出やすい人ほど参考になるはず。 まず、床に敷くシート選び。トイレは水ハネ・湿気・汚れが多いので、薄すぎるシートより少し厚みのあるフロアクッション（クッションフロア）系の方が貼りやすくて、見た目も“おしゃれ”に寄りやすいです。柄は白系だと明るくなる反面、髪の毛やホコリがめちゃくちゃ目立つので「掃除のやる気スイッチ用」と割り切ると気が楽でした。タイル風・ヘリンボーン風も人気ですが、狭いトイレは柄の向きで印象が変わるので、仮置きの段階で向きを何度か変えて確認するのがおすすめです。 次に、型紙づくりのコツ。私は“いらない紙で型紙を作る→細かい部分はふせんで埋める”方法が一番ラクでした。ただ、カット線は「線の上」よりも気持ち“内側”を切った方が、最後にぴったり寄せやすいです。逆に外側を切ると、私みたいに隙間が出やすい…。直線はものさし（定規）を必ず当てて、丸い部分（便器のカーブ）は少しずつ切って微調整が安全でした。 貼り方は、私はいきなり両面テープ直貼りにせず、マステ（養生）を床に貼ってからその上に両面テープを貼りました。原状回復を意識するならこの順番が安心。貼ったら“しっかり圧着”が本当に大事で、手で押すだけじゃ甘いので、乾いた雑巾でゴシゴシ押したり、ローラーがあればなお良いです。最後に仮置き→微調整→本貼りの順にすると失敗が減ります。 気になる隙間対策は、場所で使い分けがよかったです。便器まわりなど水がかかりそうなところは、防カビ系の透明コーキングが安心（ただし賃貸は退去時に剥がせるタイプか要確認）。壁際など“見た目重視＆可逆性重視”なら透明の隙間テープの方がラクでした。どちらにしても、隙間を放置すると汚れが入りやすくてニオイの原因にもなりがち。 最後に、トイレの臭突ファン（脱臭・換気系）を検討している人へ。床をきれいにしてもニオイが残る時は、床よりも換気・配管まわり・便器と床の取り合いの隙間が原因のことも多いです。床DIYと一緒に「換気扇の掃除」「便器まわりの隙間チェック」をやると、体感が変わりました。DIYは完璧じゃなくても、清潔を保ちやすくなるだけで十分やってよかったです。
