Pregnant, "Which bones have changed?" 🤰
Not just a big belly. Bones, the whole body is changing!
Mothers have to restructure their bones to support their growing children, causing them to ache or not feel the same.
1. 🦴 Pelvis
Relaxin causes ligaments and joints to loosen to prepare the vagina for delivery, thus causing retardant pain in the hips or pubis.
2. 🦴 Spine
As the stomach grows, abdominal weight increases, causing the back to swallow more than usual, resulting in back pain, especially during the waist.
3. 🦴 Rib bone
The enlarged uterus pushes out the midrib and ribs, causing chest tightness, male pain, or full breathing.
4. 🦴 Hip bone
The hips bear more weight, causing hip pain, difficulty walking, or pain when flipping.
5. 🦴 Coccyx bone
Ball weight and uterine pressure can cause coccyx pain, especially long sitting times or posture changes.
6. 🦴 pubic bone
The pubic joint loosens more, may have pain in the groin or pubis, walk and hurt, or have difficulty standing on one leg.
7. 🦴 bones, legs and ankles
Increased body weight causes the knees, ankles and feet to pick up more force, thus aching easily, and some may have slightly flattened paws.
♥️♥️♥️
....Bone changes during pregnancy are normal.
Instead, mothers should receive adequate calcium and vitamin D, ready to exercise lightly, and eat high-calcium foods such as milk, yogurt, anchovies, or rice fish to help strengthen both mother and baby bones in the stomach.
