👍Pros : Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer is that gloriously chaotic 2000 Christmas special based on the old novelty song. It first hit home video in 2000, aired on The WB in 2001, and it still pops up every year on The CW and a bunch of other channels.

The story’s basically Jake Spankenheimer trying to keep his grandma’s little general store from getting swallowed up by Austin Bucks, the super-rich “let’s make Christmas easier” guy. Grandma’s not having it, but Cousin Mel definitely is.. she’s already scheming to sell the place and even sabotages Grandma’s fruitcake to make it tank.

And then, of course… Grandma goes missing and the chaos begins.
