Un souper que j’espère que ton toddler va aimer … LE MIENS ES TRÈS DIFFICILE DE BASE
As a parent, I completely understand the challenge of preparing meals for toddlers who can be very picky eaters. My own toddler was incredibly selective about food, which made dinner time stressful and sometimes frustrating. Over time, I found that simplicity and familiarity were key. Offering meals that include a balance of familiar flavors with small, exciting twists helped my toddler stay interested without overwhelming them. For example, incorporating mild spices or natural sweetness from vegetables like carrots or sweet potatoes often made a big difference. One strategy that worked well was involving my toddler in meal preparation. Even simple tasks like washing vegetables or stirring ingredients made them more curious and willing to try the food. Also, maintaining a routine with consistent meal times helped my child know what to expect, which reduced resistance. Another important tip is to offer small portions to avoid overwhelming the toddler, paired with a few preferred snacks that provide important nutrients. It's also helpful to avoid pressuring the child to eat, as meal times should be positive experiences. With patience and experimenting with different healthy recipes, I've learned that most toddlers will eventually expand their palate. If your toddler is stubborn like mine, you might want to try simple dishes like soft pasta with vegetable puree, mild chicken stews, or homemade pancakes with fruit. These dishes combine nutrition with flavors toddlers usually enjoy. Remember, every child is different, so keep trying creative and nutritious meals that suit your toddler's tastes. This approach made mealtime much more manageable in my experience.
