November Reading

I read a lot in November but still have some left over goals going into December. Last reading wrap before the big one so I'm gonna get really stat heavy and go through goals. Also I need more book trackers lol.

📈📈📈

I read 100% fiction books for the month of November which is higher than most of the year where I had at least one nonfiction book. 😭😭😭 It's fine it doesn't matter but my numbers.

I read 13 books, it took me an average of 4 days to read. 7 audiobooks, 5 digital and only 1 physical. I have been prioritizing audiobooks because I'm a busy woman.

All 5 of my digital books were kindle unlimited reads, and 2 of my audio reads were also KU. So 7 KU, 5 Libby and 1 books "borrowed" from my boyfriend's sister's room. I'll break down the money saved tomorrow.

📚📚📚

Goals were met and broken.

The goals for November were: Read 2 outlander books, read a Sy-fi, find Christmas reads and start figuring what books can be packed for the move.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I finished 3.1 Outlander books. 1, 2, 2.5 and I'm a few hours into book 3. Lots of fun. I'm a little overwhelmed but it's fine.

👽 I didn't read a sy-fi.

🎄 I started finding books to read for Christmas. I also started reading a couple. My kindle is stuffed like a turkey.

📦 I decided to just pack all the books because the move is imminent. I'm fine reading digital or audio for a couple weeks.

📖📖📖

New Goals:

📖 Finish my current read.

🧪 Read a Syfi

🪨 Read a book that was translated

🐈‍⬛ Read the Amy Award books I haven't been reading because I've been "busy"

🧶 Start and finish a craft project while listening to an audiobook to avoid screen time.

... Read moreNovember proved to be an exciting month packed with a diverse range of fiction titles, which is reflected by the 100% fiction reads highlighted. This choice showcases a strong preference for immersive storytelling and creative escapes during busy times. Prioritizing audiobooks helped maximize reading time, a smart move for busy individuals who want to keep up with literature without sacrificing productivity. Audiobooks accounted for over half of the reading, demonstrating how this format allows multitasking, such as listening during commutes or chores. The use of Kindle Unlimited (KU) and Libby apps also highlights an effective way to access books affordably, tapping into digital libraries to save costs while exploring variety. Tracking monthly reading statistics like average book length, pace (four days per book), and formats (audio, digital, physical) offers great insights into personal preferences and time management. It’s common to find months focused entirely on fiction, but mixing in nonfiction periodically can bring enlightening perspectives and balance. Setting goals like tackling the Outlander series partially fulfilled, starting holiday-themed reading, and preparing for a move by deciding to pack all physical books indicate thoughtful planning. The new objectives for December — including finishing a current read, exploring science fiction, reading translated works, and engaging with Amy Award-winning books — are compelling strategies to widen literary horizons and maintain motivation. Also, incorporating a craft project alongside audiobook listening provides an excellent approach to reduce screen time while nurturing creativity and relaxation. This reading wrap not only chronicles books and stats but inspires readers to evaluate their habits, embrace diverse formats, use subscription services smartly, and incorporate enjoyable routines to enrich their reading experience throughout the year.
