📚November reading stats! 📖

This month I met my yearly reading goal of 80 books!!! It was a great month of reading.

-

Best book of the month: The Haar- I was NOT expecting to like this as much as I did. As you can see from the calendar pic, it took me nearly all month to read it, but I read the last 56% in one day because once it got good it was GOOOOOOOD.

Lowest rated book of the month: I Was a Teenage Slasher- not a horrible book, but it was my least favorite of the ones I read this month. I still enjoyed it, but had a hard time really investing care into the characters.

Most surprising love: Mary- I haven’t seen a ton about this book, but it seemed like every review I saw was people saying they LOVED it. I am no exception. This book was so good and is super underrated!

... Read moreThis November, I reached an incredible milestone by reading 80 books in total! One of my standout reads was "The Haar," which captivated me with its story, making it difficult to put down. I read the last significant portion in just a day! Conversely, while "I Was a Teenage Slasher" isn't a bad book, it didn’t resonate as deeply with me compared to my other reads. /n/nI also found a hidden gem in "Mary," which I hadn’t heard much about prior. Many readers rave about it, and I wholeheartedly agree with the praise; it is indeed underrated and worth your time. /n/nIn analyzing my reading habits this month, I enjoyed a diverse range of genres, highlighting the advantages of varying reading choices. Exploring new styles and authors expanded my horizons and enriched my experiences. For fellow book enthusiasts, I recommend trying out different genres to discover what resonates with you. Additionally, leveraging resources like Goodreads and engaging with online book communities can help discover more reading material aligned with your interests. Keep up with monthly reading goals, as they can motivate and inspire us to read more. So, what were your favorite reads this month? Let’s share our recommendations and keep the conversation going in the #lemon8bookclub! Keep on reading!
