7 ways to manage diligent people "speak" but never "listen"

1) Separate "people do not listen" from "situations are not ready to listen."

Some people don't listen because they always hate us.

How to use it:

• Ask the check mode before talking: "Is it convenient to listen for two minutes now, or what time is it?"

• If he continues to overtalk = is considered unavailable and enters Article 2 immediately.

2) Set the time-cue rules (do not look fierce, but must be clear)

Talkers are hard to stop themselves. There must be a "frame."

Polite rules example:

• "Let me say 30 seconds and switch."

• "Finish this point first and then go to the next point."

• "If you talk at the same time, get off the point, one by one."

Trick: Speak slowly, be calm, make eye contact, and stop silent for 1-2 seconds. People like to insert will start to feel that they are "rude."

3) Use the sentence "Reflect + Lock Issues" (Reflect & Lock).

Toxic people often like to drag on to other things or talk around until we're tired.

Recipe: "Heard that... (reflected) + Today talk about... (locked)"

Example:

• "I understand you're worried about the top, but let's talk about how to close the sale three steps today."

• "I hear you don't agree, but the point is, how do we get the team to plan?"

4) Ask "forced listening" questions (closed-ended / optionally answered questions).

Open-ended questions, perhaps taking the mic longer than before

Take a short answer and pull it back at us.

Example:

• "OK, do you want A or B?"

• "What is the choice of one that can be solved today?"

• "Let me conclude. You agree with item 1, right?"

Goal: Make him "have to answer," not "have said."

5) Set a lot of unexplained "boundaries" (Boundary without Debate).

The scope is not to ask for permission - it is to tell us how we can live together.

The sentence is ready to apply:

• "If you talk loudly / sarcastically, we'll stop talking and talk again when you calm down."

• "Let's talk in a normal tone. If not, let's go to work."

• "I can listen, but I don't accept insulting words."

Important: Say it once, and then follow the truth, or they'll know it's "threatening."

6) Time-space-frequency limit (Toxic Management = Time Management)

Some people can't handle it in words. They have to handle it in a "system."

• Talk only about tasks / goals

• Short rounds of talks, such as 10 minutes

• Talk where someone else / has a record (chat / group line) to reduce speech twists

• If necessary: "Contact through text messages is clearer than call."

Idea: The more often he gets the stage, the more he thinks he's right.

7) Choose "cut the cycle" by ending the conversation professionally.

When you meet, talk, don't listen, loop - to "don't play with" is to win.

The sentence ends politely but cool:

• "Okay, I'll go through with the plan. If you're going to keep talking, let's talk alternately."

• "I'm not ready to talk to the conclusion right now. I'll be back."

• "Please stop this."

Trick: Don't end with emotion. Finish with "conditions" (talk when.....) will look very professional.

More signs of "should step back."

If he has these three things often, it means that the relationship is sucking heavy energy:

• Regular contempt / devaluation

• Makes guilt to control (gaslighting / twisting)

• Sorry but always repeat

In this case, "spacing + scope + communication proof" is the best armor.
