🚀 Affirmations fail when your nervous system….

4/16 Edited to

... Read moreFrom my own journey with affirmations, I realized that simply repeating positive statements isn’t enough—our nervous system has to be ready to accept these changes. When I first started using affirmations, I struggled because my body’s habitual responses and subconscious mind were at odds with the words I was saying. This created a kind of internal resistance I now understand as the 'Failure Glitch.' The Ascension Protocol emphasizes regulating the nervous system before speaking affirmations. This means calming your body and mind to safely receive and integrate the affirming words without triggering a threat response. For me, incorporating breathing exercises and mindfulness helped shift my nervous system into a state where my affirmations truly felt believable. Another key insight from the guide is about bridging affirmations with small, consistent habits that prove the belief in daily life. For example, if the affirmation is "I am becoming more confident," pairing it with a specific action—like speaking up once in a meeting—creates evidence for the subconscious, reducing the belief gap. I also learned to use believable affirmations that felt achievable rather than aiming for grand, abstract statements. Affirmations like "I am learning to close the gap" felt authentic and less likely to trigger resistance. Over time, this led to a positive shift in my self-perception and manifesting results. Incorporating these strategies may transform your affirmation practice. Instead of merely speaking on autopilot—which often activates a safety override—you create a calm, aligned state that welcomes transformation. This approach has made the difference between empty slogans and real manifestation in my experience.
