Weekly reading Recap 📚📊

How much I read last week 🤩

Obviously some days were better than others, but this is what a week looks like for me, while working 7:30am to 5:30pm! I also moved this weekend, so that contributed to my reading time also. Please note that I have no kids, so I devote a good amount of time to reading. I do work and I’m in grad school, but I make time for reading :)

I almost met my daily goal every day! 😋 I’m trying to read every single day this year. I like to set a goal so that I feel obligated to take time to enjoy my reading. If I don’t make it a “chore” I won’t make any time for my own peace and quiet, so I set a daily goal :) Opposite from most people, who avoid forcing themselves haha 😂

Also, I tend to read a lot of books at once, but all very different books, so that I can jump around to what I’m feeling 🫣 so it usually takes me a bit to finish them :)

... Read moreIn today's fast-paced world, many find it challenging to incorporate reading into their daily routine. Setting a clear reading goal, like I do, can make a significant difference. For instance, aiming to read 100 pages daily not only keeps you accountable but also enhances your reading experience. By tracking your progress, you can celebrate small victories, such as completing multiple books weekly. This method also allows for a diverse reading list; exploring different genres helps to maintain engagement and cater to various moods. Reading is not just about finishing books; it's also about the joy of experiencing different worlds and narratives. Engaging with communities online, such as the #lemon8bookclub or participating in challenges like #lemon8challenge, can provide motivation and foster discussions around shared reads. Additionally, implementing insights from other avid readers can enhance your approach to reading, helping you discover new tips and tricks to fit book time into your busy life. Moreover, sharing your journey with others can inspire them to embrace reading more actively. As you track your progress, consider documenting it visually or through social media posts. This not only holds you accountable but may also encourage others to join in on this enriching habit. Remember, every book read is a new perspective gained, enhancing both personal growth and understanding of the world around us.
