Studied mandarin chinese 6 months, My study tips

Mandarin Chinese is the main language of china. I started this journey because I want to learn the language with the most speakers. I'd also like to be able to participate in the Chinese version of the internet.

here are my study tips

1. make a routine. you don't have to do the same thing everyday just do something. consume some content in your desired language.

2. audio programs work better than Duolingo. it's something about hearing yourself speak the vocabulary.

3. with language learning there is no destination. it's a journey. languages are living. you will always pick up new vocabulary.

4. focus on speaking learning characters is going to take some time. you can get by just fine without reading.

5. trust the process. tomorrow is another day. after an intense study session. you will be surprised how much you remember after a good night sleep.

Furthermore, instead of stressing over reading characters, focus on speaking and conversational skills. Many learners find that they can navigate interactions using spoken language long before they fully master reading and writing. Lastly, patience is key. Embrace the journey of learning as a gradual process, understanding that new vocabulary will come up as you progress. Allow yourself to learn from mistakes and trust in the process, as every study session contributes to your overall growth. By following these tips, you’ll find yourself becoming more confident and proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
