It takes 6weeks for them to completely close up, but only a week to eat and speak as you did before.

Wisdom teeth removal can be a daunting experience, but understanding the process can alleviate some anxiety. After surgery, it's common to feel discomfort and watch others enjoying food without you, which can be quite challenging emotionally. Generally, while it may take about six weeks for your mouth to heel comprehensively, you'll likely return to eating and speaking normally within a week. Keeping up with dental hygiene post-surgery is crucial to avoid complications. It's advisable to start brushing your teeth gently as soon as you feel comfortable. Additionally, following your dentist's instructions on diet and care is essential. Patients often find that soft foods and plenty of hydration help speed up recovery. Understanding that every individual’s healing process varies can set realistic expectations for your recovery journey. Remember, staying positive and focused on the outcome can make the transition smoother. My pain was okay for like 2 days but for like three or four days after that I was just straight crying from the pain and I was constantly using ice. After the surgery apparently they lost someone’s tooth and legit forgot about me they were supposed to give me a syringe to clean it but never did🤷‍♀️
