Pregnancy: What no one talks about.

🚨🚨Long post alert 🚨🚨

It seems like I never have the “RIGHT” words to say.

•I found out I was pregnant 🤰 right before my birthday May 9th to be exact. I went through so many different emotions. Scared, happy, SUPPPPERR nervous. But ofc dad was so happy 🥹💓

•Immediately I called to make my first appt which would’ve been about a month out base off of my last cycle. I went and looked for a different place to find an earlier date to be seen which I did! Super excited to find out HOW FAR ALONG I AM. Instead of waiting so long. May 28th was my first appt 💓

•Sadly I found out I was miscarrying. At approximately 3 weeks 💔💔 No development in the sac

•2 weeks later I had an emergency D&C procedure, due to extreme pain, cramps & bleeding.

•It has been a process, I’m STILL, almost 4 months later healing emotionally.

• I am here to say, so many women go through miscarriages. & most people have no explanation to why it has happened. I was so hard on myself in the beginning, but there was not I could have done. This was a battle with my body alone.

•If you’re reading this, there are so many resources out here to help you. It’s okay to seek help, talk to someone, even a grief counselor. You are not alone and do not have to be alone! Life is full of surprises good and bad. This is just one hump to get over. Take your time & don’t be hard on yourself! Love you 💓

•SN: I will be back posting soon and responding to previous comments! See you soon 🍋💓

... Read morePregnancy loss is a conversation that often remains unspoken, leaving many women feeling isolated. It's essential to understand that approximately 10-20% of known pregnancies end in miscarriage. Various factors contribute to this heartbreaking experience, and it’s crucial to remember that it is not typically caused by anything the mother did. Many women find solace in connecting with others who have experienced similar losses. Support groups, both in-person and online, can provide a sense of community and understanding. In addition, several organizations offer resources, counseling, and articles focused on coping with grief and moving forward. Engaging with mental health professionals can also be beneficial as they can guide individuals through the complexities of grief. Journaling, talking with friends, and creativity can serve as therapeutic outlets for processing emotions. Remember, healing takes time, and it's essential to be gentle with yourself during this process. Reach out and seek support when needed; you are not alone in your journey towards emotional recovery after loss. Consider educating those around you about the realities of pregnancy loss, as it can foster more understanding and compassion within your community. Sharing stories can help to destigmatize the experience and encourage more open discussions about infertility and reproductive health. Resources, literature, and community education about pregnancy loss can play a crucial role in transforming pain into empowerment. You are valuable and worthy, and your feelings matter—take steps towards your healing journey with love and support.
