In this update, I want to share more about how managing ADHD symptoms alongside finishing creative projects has been a challenge but also rewarding. Starting new medication for PMDD has introduced some side effects like dizziness, but it’s helping improve my focus during those difficult weeks. Cross stitching has always been a relaxing and fulfilling hobby for me. Recently, balancing it with life’s ups and downs taught me the importance of patience and pacing oneself. Taking breaks when needed doesn’t mean giving up—it actually helped me return refreshed and more motivated. I’m aiming to complete this cross stitch project as a heartfelt gift for my sister’s new house—a way to celebrate her milestone with something handmade. Being about halfway done now, it feels great to see the progress and envision the final product. If you’re juggling hobbies alongside health challenges, I’d recommend setting small, manageable goals and allowing flexibility for life’s unpredictability. Creative projects can become wonderful outlets and sources of joy, even when focus is hard to come by. Feel free to share your own experiences balancing hobbies and health—they can be amazing ways to connect and support each other on similar journeys!
