Now how did I end up in the @CÉCRED glam suite?? 😩🤍

Iykyk, I’m quick to tell people that I don’t straighten my hair. Between the potential of heat damage and the fact that I live in a very humid area…I felt like there was no point! But as soon as Cécred dropped the styling collection and I learned about how it held up through Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour…I got curious. When presented with the opportunity to experience these products and have the very talented @HAIRISTA bless my hair, I said oh…ABSOLUTELY 😁.

Yall already know, Cécred has been my dream brand to collaborate with from the moment it was announced. From the first drop, they have made me feel seen and shown how they are more than just a brand - this is a community 💙. This experience was beyond collaboration - they took the time to pour into me and I’m so grateful.

Thank you to Cécred and all of the stylists, mua, and crew involved. I appreciate you more than you know 🤎✨

... Read moreAs someone who typically avoids heat styling to prevent damage and combat humidity, trying Cécred's styling collection was a game-changer for me. I’ve always been wary of heat tools, especially living in a humid climate that tends to make styles fall flat quickly. But seeing how Cécred’s products held up on Beyoncé during her rigorous Cowboy Carter Tour sparked my curiosity enough to give it a shot. What stood out to me about Cécred was not just the product performance but the community vibe they create around hair care. It felt like more than just a brand—there was genuine care and support behind every product launch. Attending the Cécred glam suite was an amazing opportunity where the stylists and crew took their time to personalize the experience, which made a huge difference in how I felt about trying a silk press on my natural Type 4 hair. The silk press itself was impressive; my hair retained its sleekness without the frizz and damage I feared. The products provided excellent heat protection and moisture retention, which are crucial for maintaining natural hair health. If you, like me, have resisted straightening due to heat damage concerns, I recommend exploring heat protectants and styling products formulated specifically for natural hair that deliver on promises. Maintaining a silk press in humid conditions can be tricky; however, with Cécred’s styling collection, I noticed less reversion and longer-lasting smoothness. This made daily hair management much easier and boosted my confidence. Plus, having a community that understands and celebrates natural hair journeys makes the experience all the more rewarding. In summary, my encounter with Cécred’s styling collection and the supportive environment they foster reaffirmed my belief that natural hair can be styled beautifully without compromising health. Whether you are considering a silk press or looking for products that honor your hair’s unique needs, Cécred is a brand worth trying.
