Slow Fashion Saturday Week 1
My long term fiber arts goal is to have an entirely handmade wardrobe some day. I want a lot of my clothes to also be made out of handspun yarn with locally sourced fibers though I will still be using some commercial yarns hopefully with 100% natural fibers.
This sweater is one of my pride and joys. It's made using a wool/angora/acrylic blend as the black color and a wool, mohair, acrylic blend held with it for the purple.
This sweater uses a basic top down raglan style yoke in plain double crochet stitches I really wanted the yarn to shine on this one. I use fpdc and bpdc for the ribbing on the turtleneck portion, sleeves, and bottom hem area.
