In my pain i will trust in Him ☝🏻

But what really anchors me during those stormy seasons is my faith in God. I wanted to share some of my personal reflections on how to truly trust God when everything feels impossible, especially when you're facing physical pain or deep emotional trials. It’s easy to say "I trust God," but actually living it out is a whole different ballgame. For me, it starts with remembering that God is love, God is good, God is faithful, and God is almighty. These aren't just empty phrases; they're truths that can transform our perspective. When I'm in pain, whether physical or emotional, I remind myself of these core attributes. It helps me to love God with all my heart because I know His intentions for me are always good, even when I don't understand the path I'm on. One powerful way I reinforce my trust is by diving into bible verses. There's something incredibly comforting about His word. I keep scriptures with pictures saved on my phone or printed out, so I have visual reminders throughout my day. Seeing a bible verse with image can instantly shift my focus from my struggles to His promises. For instance, the verse from 2 Corinthians 4:17, which reminds us that "our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all," has been a huge source of encouragement. It's one of those things to remember in the mist of your trial. When I'm trusting God in physical pain, I often turn to scriptures like Psalm 34:18: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Or Isaiah 41:10: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." These verses aren't just words; they're lifelines that help me feel less alone and more supported. Sometimes, during trials, we might even question our purpose or God's calling bible verse for our lives.
