Am I in a rut? Or lazy?✨

I have severally feel into a rut. I am new to the sahm life. I am have a habit of becoming overwhelmed with cleaning. Crazy thing is I like to clean. But struggle so bad with bedrooms. Now that we moved to a smaller home it like nothing and lord know I mean nothing fits. And it’s easy my friends say throw things away. But legit I have nothing else to throw away. #Lemon8Diary #cleaning #cleaningstruggles #nomotivationtoclean#embracevulnerability #sahm #sahmlife #sahmsoflemon8 #sahmlifestyle #sahmlife

... Read moreBeing a stay-at-home mom (SAHM) can bring its own unique challenges, especially when it comes to maintaining a clean and organized home. Many face the overwhelming feeling of not knowing where to start, particularly when living in smaller spaces. The struggle often lies in balancing daily responsibilities while trying to keep everything in order. It’s common to feel paralyzed by the clutter or find it difficult to sort through belongings, leading to feelings of guilt about not being productive. One approach to combating this is by setting small, manageable goals. Instead of tackling an entire room, focus on one area, like a corner of a bedroom or a single shelf. This can make the task less daunting and provide a quicker sense of accomplishment. Utilizing timers can also help; try the Pomodoro Technique where you clean for 25 minutes followed by a 5-minute break. This method not only makes cleaning feel less laborious but also adds a game-like element to it. Moreover, involving family members can instill a sense of teamwork and make the process more enjoyable. Communicating openly about the struggles of maintaining the household can lead to support from partners or older children, encouraging everyone to share the load. Also, celebrating small victories with family can foster a more positive environment around cleaning. Finally, don’t hesitate to seek inspiration from online communities or different cleaning hacks that are prevalent in today’s social media culture. Sometimes, a fresh perspective or a new method can ignite the motivation needed to overcome feelings of laziness or stagnation. Remember, it’s okay to ask for help or even take breaks when needed. Embracing vulnerability can allow for real connections and shared experiences among other moms facing similar situations.

Lazy…or just in Luteal phase? 👀
For the longest time, I asked myself this every month. I’d have weeks where my energy was high, my workouts felt amazing, and I could get so much done. Then suddenly—bam—I’d hit a wall. I used to beat myself up for being “unmotivated,” but once I started tracking my cycle, everything clicked. ✨
