beginner-friendly crochet patterns for christmas 🌟
i'm biggggg on making handmade gifts for friends, even if it something small to throw in with another present, here are a few of my favorites to gift:
🧶 hanging plant pots: these patterns - especially viv crochet's pattern - work up within an hour, and are very easy to follow! I made two for friends and coworkers this week :)
🧶 coasters: a quick search on ravelry, or youtube, you will find thousands of coaster patterns, so it is easy to find one that someone you know will love! i use a mixture of modge-podge and water to add strength to the coasters, and another layer of protection!
🧶 beanies: beanies/clothes and accessories can be a bit tricky to size for someone if you want it to be a surprise, but many patterns will tell you how to adjust to change the size, and are usually super simple to make!
i know a lot of crocheters will say they don't gift because others donate/throw it away, but i think it's important to know who you are giving and know they will appreciate the sentiment!
