Agreed. Boys will grow up to be forced to learn this even if they are not taught. They have to clean their own houses, take out their own trash, pay their own bills. It’s not about gender it’s about functioning in daily life.

lol like any of those thing are even hard? I think teaching my daughter to push a mower would take maybe 5 minutes to teach, if she doesn't already know how to throw the trash thats embarrassing. Most men don't even take out the trash. they wait until its beyond full. All this said! my momma taught me to cook and clean and my dad taught me how to work on cars and do anything myself. its really simple, don't raise your kids to be dependent on anybody.
