Weekend Food Prep. Breakfast Edition
Weekend food prep. Breakfast edition! I can't even tell you how many pancakes I just made but they sure are delicious. This is how I keep bellies full and it takes the load off of cooking them every morning. After these pancakes cool, I load them in a freezer safe Tupperware container and just pop them in the toaster. Easy peasy.
I use the Members Mark brand from @samsclub . All you do is add water after choosing how many servings you want to make. My secret ingredient is vanilla. 🤫

Weekend food prep is an essential strategy for busy mornings, especially for families. By dedicating some time during the weekend to meal prep, you can set yourself up for success throughout the week. Not only does this save time, but it also allows you to maintain healthy eating habits without the rush of morning preparation. One of the most versatile and popular breakfast options is pancakes. These fluffy treats can cater to various tastes and dietary needs, making them a favorite among all age groups. The process of making pancakes ahead of time is simple: prepare the batter and cook the pancakes in bulk. Once they cool down, place them into freezer-safe containers. When it’s time to eat, just pop them in the toaster or microwave. This method ensures that you always have a nutritious breakfast ready in a flash. Moreover, consider adding variations to your pancake recipe to keep things interesting. You can introduce ingredients like blueberries, bananas, or even chocolate chips according to your family’s preferences. The key is to experiment with flavors while keeping preparation simple. Adding a dash of vanilla, as mentioned, is a fantastic way to elevate the taste. To further streamline your breakfast prep, utilize a good quality pancake mix such as the Members Mark brand. This allows for easy preparation; simply mix the desired amount of mix with water. This not only cuts down on prep time but also minimizes cleanup, giving you more time to enjoy with your family. To enhance your breakfast experience, consider pairing pancakes with healthy toppings such as fresh fruit, yogurt, nuts, or even a drizzle of maple syrup. These additions not only boost the flavor but also add nutritional value, contributing to a balanced meal for your loved ones. By focusing on preparation during the weekend, you transform weekday breakfasts from a chore into a delightful family ritual.
