i could never do cloth diapers 😭🤢

I think cloth diapers are gross. Do they save money? Yes. And I totally get that some moms use them for specific health reasons, I would too if necessary. But by choice? Absolutely not. The whole washing process just makes my stomach turn. I can barely handle normal laundry, let alone that 😭 It’s just not practical for me or my family. But if it works for yours, that’s great. We all do what works best for our babies. If you are able to handle it, major respect to you!

... Read moreCloth diapers are a popular choice for many parents looking to save money and reduce environmental impact. While they can be cost-effective in the long run, they do require a commitment to regular washing and maintenance, which can be a turnoff for some caregivers. Many parents appreciate cloth diapers for their breathability and reduced exposure to chemicals often found in disposables, which is especially beneficial for babies with sensitive skin or allergies. On the other hand, cloth diapering demands a time investment and access to laundry facilities, which might not be practical for every family. The washing process involves soaking, rinsing, and thorough drying to maintain hygiene and diaper integrity. Some parents find this routine overwhelming, particularly if they have other young children or a busy schedule. Interestingly, brands like Millie Moon offer luxury options with features such as high absorbency and gentle fragrances, aiming to make diapering more appealing and comfortable. Their products suggest that innovation in diaper design continues to evolve, catering to different preferences. Ultimately, choosing cloth diapers comes down to personal lifestyle, priorities, and what works best for each family’s unique situation. The community respects differing opinions and encourages parents to support one another's choices. If handling the cloth diapering routine is manageable for you, many applaud your dedication. But if it’s not your fit, that’s completely valid too. Parenting is about tailoring solutions that ensure your baby’s health and your well-being.

I agree but I don’t judge those who use them. I’m all for saving the environment and using healthier alternative but I could not get behind cloth diapers at all!

I agree. I couldn’t imagine putting a poopy cloth diaper into the wash. I feel like over time it would stink the place up so bad. Yuck
