Philly Cheesesteak Loaded Baked Potato 🥩🥔
I’ve been craving a classic Philly lately, but I wanted to switch things up and make it even heartier for a cozy dinner at home. This loaded potato is the ultimate comfort food for when you want all those savory, melty flavors in one bowl!
Ingredients
• 1 Large Russet Potato
• 14 oz Beef Shaved Steak
• 3 Bell Peppers (Red, Yellow, Orange)
• 1 Yellow Onion
• 2 slices White Cheddar Cheese
• Butter
• Mayonnaise (optional, for extra creaminess!)
• Seasonings: Onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Instructions
1. Prep the Potato: Bake your potato until tender. Once finished, slice it open and fluff the inside with a generous amount of butter, salt, pepper, and a dollop of mayo if you like it extra creamy!
2. Sauté the Veggies: While the potato bakes, chop your bell peppers and onion into strips. Sauté them in a pan over medium heat until they start to soften.
3. Cook the Steak: Add your shaved beef to the pan with the veggies. Season well with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook until the meat is browned and the veggies are tender.
4. Melt the Cheese: Turn off the heat. Lay your white cheddar slices over the meat and veggie mixture. Cover the pan with a lid for about a minute until the cheese is perfectly melted and gooey.
5. Assemble: Scoop that cheesy steak and pepper mixture right into your prepared baked potato. Serve hot and enjoy!
