This low-and-slow technique breaks down the connective tissue and fat, resulting in juicy, fall-off-the-bone ribs. I like to add a bit of extra flavor by tossing in some sliced onions and a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce before starting the crockpot. About halfway through the cooking process, I check to make sure there’s still enough moisture; if it looks dry, I add a splash of beef broth or water. Cooking on low preserves moisture and allows the Cajun seasoning to deeply penetrate the meat.
