From my own experience, I've learned that the phrase "love don't cost a thing" can be quite misleading. While love itself should be free and unconditional, getting involved with the wrong person can take a toll on your life in unexpected ways. I remember feeling completely exhausted—physically, mentally, and emotionally—after a relationship that, despite its promises, left me feeling drained. For many, love means giving your time, attention, and trust. But when these are not reciprocated, it can feel like you've lost everything you invested. Healing from such heartbreak takes time, and sometimes, it means starting your life over with a new outlook. It's important to recognize the value of your own love and not settle for relationships that cost too much of your well-being. If you're currently deciding who to give your love and trust to, be mindful and patient. Your love is precious and should be shared with someone who truly values it.
