Staying till you hate them..
staying until you hate them
I don’t think most people leave the first time they’re hurt.
They stay.
They communicate.
They forgive.
They hope.
They wait for things to get better.
And somewhere in the middle of all that waiting…
Something begins to change.
The little things become bigger.
Conversations become shorter.
Patience becomes harder to find.
You stop recognizing the version of yourself you used to be.
I don’t think people always end relationships because they stop loving someone.
Sometimes they leave because they’ve stayed so long that love slowly turned into resentment.
Not because of one moment…
But because of a hundred moments that were never repaired.
Sometimes we stay because we’re loyal.
Because we remember who they used to be.
Because we keep believing tomorrow will look different.
But staying past your breaking point can come with a cost.
It can change the way you see your partner.
It can change the way you see yourself.
And sometimes the saddest part isn’t losing the relationship.
It’s realizing you stayed so long that the love you once had became buried beneath hurt.
Have you ever felt yourself staying long enough that your heart started changing before your circumstances did?

I stayed because I am loyal. I CANNOT believe I fought for him. I loved him. And now after everything I am the one not telling the truth!? I am the problem even though I am the one getting hurt. Got out of it by the skin of my teeth i am still trying to land but I have to get comfortable in the uncomfortable.
