Mums can still grow for themselves too

Saw this article and honestly, it made me think a lot 🥹

Reality is, many parents especially mums don’t really “pause” in life during a career break. We are still working every single day!

Taking care of the family, managing the household, caring for our Little Ones, rushing around, worrying about everyone before ourselves.

The sacrifice is real, especially when income, career progression, and personal dreams get put aside for the family.

For me, this Digital journey also made me realise how important it is to not lose ourselves completely while caring for everyone else.

That’s why I appreciate having something that allows me to continue learning, connecting with people, challenging myself, and slowly building confidence again outside of just my daily responsibilities.

It may not happen overnight, but little by little, it reminds me that mums can still grow for themselves too ❤️

Have you ever thought about wanting something more flexible for yourself and your family too, while still being able to stay present for the people you love?

... Read moreTaking a career break as a mum often feels like stepping off the traditional career path, but it doesn’t have to mean putting your personal growth on hold. In fact, many mums find that this time, while challenging, offers a unique opportunity to grow in new ways. From my own experience, managing family and household duties while still nurturing my own aspirations has been a daily balancing act. One insight that really resonated with me was shared in a recent podcast featuring Minister Indranee, who described taking time off for family as a detour rather than a sacrifice. This perspective helped me reframe my own experience—not as losing time or opportunities, but as gaining priceless moments with my family while also opening doors to new skills, especially in the digital arena. Engaging in digital learning and communities has been a game changer. It’s flexible, allowing me to stay present with my little ones but also engage in continuous learning and personal challenge. Whether it's developing new digital marketing skills or exploring online entrepreneurship, this ongoing growth contributes to rebuilding my confidence. The reality for many mums is that the workload during a career break never truly pauses—we are managing multiple roles constantly. Yet, by seeking opportunities that complement family life and respecting our own need for growth and fulfillment, mums can cultivate a sustainable, rewarding path that honors both personal dreams and family commitments. If you’re a mum considering a career break or looking for more flexible ways to grow, remember that it’s possible to build your future steadily, without sacrificing the moments that matter most at home. It’s about creating balance, staying connected, and taking small steps every day towards your personal development goals.

You deserve a path, whatever age you are
At every stage of life, women carry different responsibilities. Young mums care for children. Mid-career women juggle work, family and ageing parents. Grandmothers continue supporting everyone around them. And somewhere along the way… many women quietly put themselves last. Their dreams.

Mums, 2 hours a day! Turn your life around!
I used to be a full time working mum struggling to keep up with motherhood. Rushing through the days, stretched way too thin and completely burnt out. I had no quality time with my baby and no 'me-time' at all. Time just never felt enough. As a first time mum who cannot be truly present
