They Are Only Little To A While

Last day of 2nd term today and will be a break for 1 month before the 3rd term starts. 🥹💛

No more early morning rushing for a while…

No more “faster wear your shoes!”

No more packing water bottles and checking spelling books 😅

Motherhood really teaches us how fast time passes. That’s why these few years with our kids feel so precious to me 💛

... Read moreAs a parent, I often find that the school term schedule deeply shapes our daily rhythms. The end of a term brings not just a break for the kids but a pause in the hectic routines like early morning rushes, last-minute packing, and constant reminders to get ready on time. This break period allows families to breathe, recharge, and spend more quality time together. From personal experience, these pauses in the school calendar are invaluable. They provide an opportunity to truly connect with my children outside the structured environment of school. No rushing to get shoes on or last-minute spelling tests means more relaxed mornings and spontaneous activities which are cherished. Motherhood brings a profound awareness of how quickly time flies. Watching children grow and evolve each school term deepens the appreciation for these precious, fleeting years. The often-overlooked daily moments—simple routines and small rituals—become the memories we hold dear. During breaks, I try to focus on meaningful interactions like engaging in their hobbies or enjoying quiet family time. It reinforces the emotional bond and creates a nurturing environment away from the usual busyness. These experiences remind me that while children are 'only little to a while,' the memories and love created last a lifetime.

Some Things Only Happen at This Age.

Chanced upon this restaurant while researching for good food and did not regret coming here at all. They offer a variety of dishes, but we heard their chicken soup is an absolute MUST ORDER. We went with a bowl of the chicken soup and an order of pig intestines since we were hitting the night marke

When A Cancer Loves, They Stay
Maybe this is the Cancer dark side people talk about. We feel everything too deeply, yet say so little about it. We become distant when hurt, but secretly wish someone would notice we are drowning inside. Sometimes I wonder why souls can feel so close while reality still feels so far away.
