Exclusively pumping is exhausting
7 weeks postpartum.
7 weeks of pumping through exhaustion, engorgement, clogged ducts, middle-of-the-night alarms, cluster feeds, mom guilt, mom power, and sheer witchy determination.
And this… this is the result of every sleepy 2 AM pump, every “just 5 more minutes,” every bottle washed, every compression, every deep breath:
✨ My frozen milk stash — over 7 weeks of showing up for my daughter. ✨
This isn’t “just milk.”
This is:
• healing
• hormones
• nutrition
• sleep lost
• love poured
• magic created
• commitment honored
• and a mama doing everything she can during the wildest 4th trimester.
Every single bag represents one moment where I chose to keep going…
Even when I was tired.
Even when my body hurt.
Even when my brain said “you can skip.”
But my heart said,
“This tiny human needs me. And I’m going to show up.”
Here’s to the pumpers, the nursing mamas, the combo-feeders, the formula moms —
the ones doing what works for their baby.
You are powerful.
You are enough.
And you’re doing an incredible job. 💛🌿
If you’re on your pumping journey too, comment where you’re at —
7 days? 7 weeks? 7 months?
Let’s cheer each other on. 🍼✨
