How Traveling Abroad Helped Me

Back when I was in the U.S. I was complacent. Sick and tired of seeing the same things, hearing the same rhetoric. New day, same stuff, over and over again. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and see what else the world had to offer by booking a last minute solo trip to Medellín, Colombia.

The experience opened my eyes. New culture, new attitudes, new language, new people, new relationships, new environment, new perspectives, new way of thinking, and a better way of living in almost every way imaginable. From that point on, I was hooked and began booking international trips whenever I had free time in my schedule. Fast forward 6 years later, I now live permanently overseas. None of this would have been possible without learning a skill that has allowed me to work from overseas.

I advise anyone else who feels stuck doing the same thing day in and day out to broaden your horizons and see what else the world has to offer.
