The content is good, easy to read, not difficult to understand, it is difficult because the content is cruel, it can not be read in a long time. Especially the first two chapters, the killer is so cruel and psychopathic that I can hardly read. I have to leave and read another book first and then come to read. But from the third chapter, the killer is not as cruel as one and two, making it read long until the end.
Much of the content is about the killer, starting from the background, the kind of parenting that the author has defined, and the cases that the killer has made, which have been serialized for the reader to read, which I think is too much, but interestingly, the analysis of the killer or the psychological content that goes back to me is a lot more of my favorite part of the book. But the point that the author wants to communicate is not outside the point. Seeing what kind of killer was raised like this makes us not dare to raise children like that.
Overall, the killer did too much to read. I think Trigger Warning 20 + is very cruel, and it's also true. If it's a novel about how brutal the killer is or how much the body is, it focuses on the investigation, making it easier to read.

ก่อนหยิบ “เลี้ยงลูกอย่างไรไม่ให้เป็นฆาตกร” มาอ่าน เราแนะนำให้ตั้งความคาดหวังไว้ก่อนว่าเล่มนี้เป็นสาย TRUE CRIME แบบ “เรื่องจริง” ไม่ใช่นิยายสืบสวน ดังนั้นโทนการเล่าจะพาไปเจอรายละเอียดคดีและความรุนแรงมากกว่าเส้นเรื่องสืบสวน ใครที่ไวกับประเด็นทารุณกรรม/ฆาตกรรมควรเตรียมใจ (ส่วนตัวเรารู้สึกว่าเป็นเล่มที่ต้องอ่านแบบแบ่งตอน ไม่งั้นมันหน่วงและภาพติดหัว) สิ่งที่ทำให้เล่มนี้น่าสนใจคือมันพยายามโยง “ครอบครัวและการเลี้ยงดู” เข้ากับรากของความรุนแรงในหลายคดี เราอ่านแล้วได้มุมคิดว่า บางพฤติกรรมที่ผู้ใหญ่ทำจนชิน เช่น การใช้ความรุนแรงในบ้าน การทำให้เด็กรู้สึกไร้ค่า การเพิกเฉยต่อปัญหาสุขภาพจิต หรือการเลี้ยงแบบควบคุม/กดดันเกินไป มันอาจสะสมเป็นบาดแผลระยะยาวได้ แม้หนังสือจะไม่ได้สรุปว่า “เลี้ยงแบบนี้แล้วลูกจะเป็นฆาตกรแน่นอน” แต่ทำให้เห็นภาพว่า “สภาพแวดล้อม” มีผลมากกว่าที่คิด และชวนให้เราไม่เผลอทำร้ายใจลูกด้วยคำพูดหรือการลงโทษที่เกินเหตุ อีกอย่างที่คนเสิร์ชแล้วมักสงสัยคือคำว่า “อุกฉกรรจ์” แปลว่าอะไร? คำนี้หมายถึง “ร้ายแรงมาก โหดเหี้ยม สะเทือนขวัญ” มักใช้กับคดีหรืออาชญากรรมที่รุนแรงเป็นพิเศษ เช่น “คดีอุกฉกรรจ์” “เหตุอุกฉกรรจ์” ถ้าจะเทียบโทนความหมายก็ประมาณ severe/heinous ในภาษาอังกฤษ ดังนั้นพอปกหลังบอกว่าเป็น “10 คดีอุกฉกรรจ์” ให้ตีความเลยว่าเนื้อหาไม่เบาแน่นอน ถ้าใครอยากอ่านเล่มนี้ให้ “ได้ประโยชน์” มากกว่าแค่รับความโหด เราใช้วิธีจดสั้น ๆ หลังจบบท เช่น 1) ภูมิหลังครอบครัวเป็นแบบไหน 2) จุดเปลี่ยนสำคัญคืออะไร 3) เราเรียนรู้อะไรเรื่องการสื่อสาร/การดูแลใจเด็ก แล้วค่อยย้อนมาถามตัวเองว่า ถ้าเป็นพ่อแม่/ผู้ปกครอง เราจะลดความเสี่ยงอะไรได้บ้าง เช่น สร้างพื้นที่ให้เด็กพูดได้โดยไม่ถูกตัดสิน พาไปพบผู้เชี่ยวชาญเมื่อมีสัญญาณอันตราย และไม่ทำให้ความรุนแรงเป็นเรื่องปกติในบ้าน สรุปคือ เล่มนี้เหมาะกับคนที่สนใจ TRUE CRIME และอยากเห็นมิติ “การเลี้ยงดู-จิตวิทยา-คดีจริง” ไปพร้อมกัน แต่แนะนำอ่านช้า ๆ และดูแลอารมณ์ตัวเองระหว่างอ่าน เพราะ Trigger Warning หนักจริง โดยเฉพาะคนที่แพ้เนื้อหาทารุณกรรมหรือฆาตกรรม
