"Eve" and "Charlie," a couple who had just bought an old house on the mountain to renovate and resell, soon came a man named "Thomas" with his wife and three children and said, "I've been there before." Can I take their family in? But Eve let them in.
Shortly after Thomas and his family entered the house, so many strange incidents occurred that Eve couldn't help but wonder that the house might have ever had something terrible happen.
What exactly is the story of Eve and Charlie? Thomas and his family came to the house, and what kind of story will it end?
Good plot / storyline, fun, hope of what happens, no ghosts, but haunting Thomas and his family that's so weird, so curious, so much so unpleasant.
The execution of the first three quarters is quite slow, awkward, but slow and awkward that makes us want to read quickly. Want to know what the truth is. The puzzles and suspicions are always inviting to read. Make the time to read and stick to the hand. Read, enjoy, not boring.

ถ้าใครเสิร์ชคำว่า “ปกหนังสือนิยาย” แล้วหลงเข้ามาโพสต์นี้ บอกเลยว่าปกของ ‘พวกเราเคยอยู่ที่นี่ (We Used To Live Here)’ เป็นหนึ่งในปกที่ดึงสายตาฉันได้ตั้งแต่แรกเห็นเลยค่ะ โทนภาพเป็นบ้านเก่าลึกลับที่เหมือนมีแสงสีเขียวเรือง ๆ ออกมาจากตัวบ้าน ทำให้ฟีลมันทั้งหลอนทั้งน่าสงสัยในเวลาเดียวกัน แถมมี “เงาคน” อยู่ด้านหน้า ยิ่งเพิ่มความรู้สึกว่าในบ้านหลังนี้ต้องมีอะไรไม่ชอบมาพากลแน่ ๆ สิ่งที่ฉันชอบคือปกมันสื่ออารมณ์ของเรื่องได้ตรงมาก ถึงในเรื่องจะไม่ได้ขายผีจ๋า ๆ แต่เป็นความระทึกขวัญแบบกดดัน อึดอัด และชวนระแวงคนแปลกหน้าที่เข้ามาในพื้นที่ของเรา ซึ่งปกที่เป็นบ้านเก่ากับแสงประหลาด ๆ ช่วยบอกกลาย ๆ ว่า “นี่ไม่ใช่บ้านธรรมดา” และทำให้ตอนถือเล่มอ่านยิ่งอินกับบรรยากาศขึ้นไปอีก อีกอย่างที่น่ารักคือมีที่คั่นหนังสือภาพปกเดียวกันด้วย (ถ้าได้มากับเล่ม) อันนี้เหมาะมากสำหรับคนชอบเก็บของสะสมเกี่ยวกับปกหนังสือนิยาย หรือคนที่ชอบถ่ายรูปทำคอนเทนต์ เพราะวางคู่กับเล่มแล้วสวยมาก ถ่ายมุมบนกับโต๊ะไม้/ผ้าสีเข้ม ๆ จะได้โทนลึกลับเข้ากับหน้าปกสุด ๆ ส่วนปกหลัง/คำโปรยก็เป็นแนวที่ทำให้หยิบอ่านต่อทันที เพราะมันโยนคำถามไว้เยอะและไม่สปอยล์ตรง ๆ แค่พอให้รู้ว่าเรื่องนี้มี “ครอบครัวที่ไม่น่าไว้ใจ” กับบ้านที่มีอดีตบางอย่างซ่อนอยู่ ฉันว่าถ้าคุณเป็นสายเลือกหนังสือจากปก (เหมือนฉัน) เล่มนี้คือปกทำการบ้านมาดี ทั้งสื่อแนวระทึกขวัญและคุมธีมให้ชัด ทริกเล็ก ๆ เวลาจะตัดสินใจจาก “ปกหนังสือนิยาย” อย่างเดียว: ลองดูว่าองค์ประกอบบนปก (สี แสง เงา วัตถุ) มันเล่าอะไรเราได้บ้าง สำหรับเล่มนี้ แค่เห็นบ้านเก่าที่เรืองแสงเขียวกับเงาคนก็เหมือนบอกแล้วว่า ‘ความจริง’ ในบ้านหลังนี้ไม่น่าจะจบสวย ๆ และพออ่านจริง ๆ ก็ได้อารมณ์นั้นจริงตามที่ปกสัญญาไว้เลยค่ะ
